Many business owners understand the importance of internet presence and social media for their company, but the results are difficult to measure. Since measuring results is integral to measuring the effectiveness of any marketing campaign, here are a few ways to make sure you’re doing as well as you had hoped.
Wildfire’s Social Media Monitor: The folks at Wildfire have created an exceptional new tool to monitor your internet progress by comparing your progress to your closest competitors. Simply enter your Facebook URL and Twitter handle, and compare up to two other companies at a time. Your results will be displayed in the form of a graph, showing your fan growth on Facebook and your Twitter follower growth.
Twazzup: Are you constantly searching for your brand’s name on Twitter in an effort to reach out and communicate? If so, Twazzup is a handy dashboard tool that keeps you posted about when your keywords are mentioned in tweets.
Hootsuite: Perhaps my most useful tool for us at Make It Work, Hootesuite is an organized system for managing your social media accounts. With features including scheduling tweets in advance, previewing Facebook posts, and monitoring traffic and results, Hootesuite is a great tool for staying organized and in touch with your clients.
