It’s school time already and it won’t  be long before your kids are hounded by their teachers to cite their work properly. Every piece of information used – a book, website, newspaper, a magazine, and much more – can easily be cited with the free online service Easybib. Easybib takes the guessing out of citing; it is the easiest bibliography and citation resource online! Make It Work is sure of it! The following instructions for Easybib will help you the next time you need to formally cite any kind of information from a publication. We hope you enjoy!

1. Go to EasyBib.com, and right away you will see a box with tabs at the top.  Select which medium you wish to cite, whether it be a book, website, or any other option, it will be in the tabs. Once you have chosen your tab, simply type in the title, ISBN number, or the URL and click Cite This.
2. It will then show you a list of titles that match your search. Click the one you want by pressing Select.
3. Next, the citation sheet will appear. This page will list all the necessary bits of information for a complete and proper citation.  Most of it should be already done, but you may need to input some supplementary information to complete the citation.

4. Once you press Create Citation it will list your citation in a new page. You can make a whole bibliography by adding more to this page in the top bar above your previous citation.
5. In the box containing your bibliography, you can also send it to Microsoft Word or make it a Google Document. You can even choose which style you want it in. For example, in middle school most teachers make students use MLA format. On the top right corner of the box you can click which format you would like and it automatically puts it in that format.
6. Once it is all done, it will save the bibliography, even when you close out of your browser! You can copy and paste, or just simply export to Word or send it to a Google Doc.
