When I’m looking at a search engine, I rarely just use it to find a website or person whom happens to just be on the internet. I have a habit of chewing up all resources piece by piece. So without further ado, I give you: How to properly use Google…
Scenario 1: Math Magician
I don’t have a calculator and I need to do some math. This rarely happens, because I rarely don’t have at least two cell phones and a computer, and I discovered this by mistake when looking up something else, but paste “5*9+(sqrt 10)^3=” into a Google search box and see what happens.
Scenario 2: All shook up
Only having lived in California for the past 3 or so years, earthquakes are still relatively new to me. I experienced my first one in ’07, and have been fascinated since. Type “Earthquake Mission Viejo”, or whichever town you find yourself near, when an earthquake strikes and see how close to your home it happened!
Scenario 3: I need a Cannoli!
I love me some Italian food. I can use Google to find it! type “Italian Food 92692″ Into your favorite Google search, and go get yourself a nice cup of minestrone!
Scenario 4: The Boondock Who?
Movies. There’s rarely a month that goes by that some awesome movie comes out that I absolutely have to see. So off to my trusty Google to type in “Boondock Saints 92692″, and prepare myself for awesomeness. You can also type in “movies + a zip-code of your choosing.”
So now you can see why I refer to this incredible website as “Lord Google.”
See what kind of cool features you can come up with!
