For those of you in the Santa Barbara area, we invite you to explore TEDxAmericanRiviera on 11.11.11 at the world famous Music Academy of the West.
This year’s event will feature a great list of noteworthy speakers and a special Youth Project orchestrated by cinematographer Mike DeGruy.
Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg has a few big announcements about what’s to come on the social network. This Thursday, the f8 developer conference will highlight the developments the company is currently working on.
If you’ve never heard of TED then you can’t begin to understand what TedxAmericanRiviera is. TED is an annual conference held in Long Beach that is invitation only. The event is 4 days long and has 50 live presenters, ranging from the Dalai Lama to Bill Gates. There are usually about 1,400 in attendance and the price is steep at $6k/head.
