I really enjoy your show! I have a question about converting vinyl records and cassette tapes to digital. I have found a couple products that connect the turntable/cassette player to the laptop computer via usb, “behringer ufo-202″ and “ads technology instant music rdx-150″. I just wanted to know if you are familiar with any of these, or do you know of any other products that you would recommend? I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you very much for any help!!

App Watch: Words With Friends = Scrabble on Steroids!

Let me start by sharing that my boyfriend and I are total Scrabble fans! I typically win but we ALWAYS have a great time playing. We’ve spent many evenings playing the good old fashion board game but neither of us had purchased the iPhone app; for some reason I just haven’t wanted to spend $4.99 of my $11.03 iTunes credit on it.

iPhone OS 4.0 First Look

MULTITASKING, FOLDERS, SPELLCHECK!

Jeremy downloaded the new iPhone OS 4.0, and so far he’s really impressed.

The most noticeable change is the revamped interface and sleeker animations. The multitasking feature is a great addition and very clean, although like Jobs mentioned in the OS 4.0 preview, not every app can multitask. All Apple apps, music apps and VoIP apps do have the multitasking capability.

The multitasking dock is very easy to initiate – you simply double tap the Home Button to pull it up. It works great for quickly switching between apps.

Another fantastic addition is the Folders feature, something highly requested by iPhone users. Folders allow you to organize your applications by simply holding down and dragging an icon on top of another.

The new Unified Inbox feature is great for those switching from BlackBerrys since all Inboxes are now accessible through one master Inbox.

Other features we like: 5x digital zoom, Bluetooth keyboard support and spell check (about time!).
