DON’T CLICK “BEACH BABES” VIDEO
Just last week we warned you about the “Sexiest Video Ever” Facebook scam, and now there’s another malware scam! This one says “this is hilarious! lol Distracting Beach Babes” and similar to the previous scam, it looks like it’s being posted TO YOU.
As before, DON’T CLICK ON THIS LINK, as it will automatically download a file which will infect your system with malware. If you see the video on your wall, don’t click any of the links and make sure to remove the post immediately!
This is yet another malware scam that relies on people not paying attention on Facebook, or… being distracted by the video’s advertised content…
VERSION 2.2 of ANDROID OS!
Google Android phone sales are on the rise and Google announced Thursday that they will soon be releasing Android OS 2.2, codename “Froyo” (Frozen Yogurt) to its adoring public.
Here are some reasons to get an Android phone (I mean, whoa):
- It features quick and easy wireless tethering
- Automatic wireless sync with your computer
- Highly anticipated, highly requested support for Adobe Flash for dynamic apps and web content. Flash for Android, though dicey now, will be very cool in the future (once the bugs are worked out).
- Also support for HTML5, which Apple is putting their money on
- Support for web-based apps as well as the standard, native apps
- Integration with Apple’s iTunes!
And the cherry on top of this delectable frozen yogurt treat? Google is touting Android 2.2 as their fastest mobile OS EVER.
Okay, Apple Camp: Get crackin’, you’ve got some major hurdles up ahead as Google is stepping up the competition!
BIOGAS GREEN FUTURE
HP has been looking into some alternative energy solutions… And no, it’s not solar or wind-power.
It’s Cow-Power!
It may sound gross, but it’s pretty great way to recycle… well, waste. Dairy farmers will be able to convert manure from dairy cows into methane (what they’re calling “Biogas“), which can replace natural gas or diesel.
Dairy cows can can provide enough power to fuel HP’s, Microsoft’s, Yahoo’s, and Google’s datacenters!
More and more tech companies are moving their datacenters into rural areas, so this could become a very viable future resource.
