Want to know what the hotest new tech trends will be in 2010? This week Jeremy Anticouni, host of Make It Work’s very own radio show known as Tech News, powered by Make It Work (on CBS) and Make It Work with Jeremy Anticouni (on ABC/Citadel) and co-founder/CTO of Make It Work, the Neighborhood Computer Support company attended CES in Las Vegas, NV. CES is the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, bringing together gadget lovers from across the globe, with more than 110,000 attendees and 330 exhibitors, showing off their latest and greatest innovations.

Jeremy has returned from the craziness of the convention and noise of the infamous Vegas after parties and we got him to give us a sneak peak of what new tech trends to look for in 2010…

1. Smartbooks:

Check out the Lenova Skylight Smartbook. Skylight is powered by 1.8 GHz Snapdragon processor, with built in WiFi and 3G mobile broadband. Its 10.1-inch HD screen offers 1280 by 720 resolution, and is featherweight at 1.95 pounds. The Skylight , which is basically an oversized smartphone, will ship with 18 web gadgets & offers 20 GB of flash storage, and an additional 2GB of free online storage and will retail for $500. Insert a SIM card from any 3G-ready GSM provider (AT&T or T-Mobile), and you’ll be up and running on their network.

2. “Slate PC” from HP & the Rumored “iSlate” from Apple:

At CES Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer revealed an HP tablet PC dubed the “Slate.” The Slate, which is proclaimed to be as portable as a phone, will run Windows 7 and hit the market later this year is Microsoft’s answer to Apple’ “iSlate” device that is rumored to be announced by Steve Jobs at a media event later this month.

3. 3D TV:

At CES this year four of the top selling TV manufacturers, Samsung Electronics, Sony, LG Electronics and Panasonic, showed off their latest versions of 3D TVs. Pricing is comparable to other flat-screen HDTVs, between $1,000 and $2,800, depending on functionality, but the questions everyone is asking is will consumers be willing to upgrade to new TVs just because they have 3D? TV makers believe that much of the demand for 3D will come from Hollywood, which is pushing 3D in a big way. Last year, DreamWorks announced that all its films will be  produced for 3D production beginning in 2009.

4. “Green” Technology:

Sony’s Stan Glasgow showed off the companies new green laptop the W series “eco-friendly” Mini. The plastic enclosure is made of 23 percent recycled CDs, and that the carrying case is made of recycled plastic bottles. The 10-inch screen is LED-lit, and it runs Windows 7 Starter edition.
